By booking and/or participating in the West Cork Haunted Trail ("Event"), you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read carefully before completing your registration. By purchasing entrance passes, you acknowledge your full acceptance of this waiver. Entering the Event constitutes your agreement to waive any rights to sue if you are injured during participation. If you do not agree to these terms, you will not be permitted entry to the Event.

1. Assumption of Risk

I understand and acknowledge that participation in the Event involves certain inherent risks, including but not limited to: walking on uneven or natural terrain, engaging in physical activities (such as games and challenges), falling into moving water, becoming scared or shocked, potential encounters with wildlife, tight parking spaces, and exposure to weather conditions. I voluntarily assume all risks associated with my participation and agree that I am responsible for my own safety.

2. Physical Condition and Safety

I confirm that I, and any minors I am responsible for, are in good health and physically able to participate in all activities related to the Event. I will follow all instructions and safety guidelines provided by the Event organizers and staff. I acknowledge that failure to comply may result in my removal from the Event without a refund.

3. Release of Liability

I, on behalf of myself, my heirs, assigns, and legal representatives, hereby release, waive, discharge, and hold harmless the organizers, Dromclough National School, volunteers, employees, sponsors, and landowners associated with the Event ("Released Parties") from any and all liability, claims, demands, or causes of action arising out of or related to any injury, loss, or damage that may be sustained by me or any minors under my care during the Event.

4. Medical Treatment

In the event of an emergency, I consent to receive any medical treatment deemed necessary by the Event staff or medical professionals. I agree that the Released Parties are not responsible for any medical costs or expenses incurred as a result of my participation in the Event.

5. Photographic Release

I grant permission to the Event organizers to use any photographs, videos, or recordings taken during the Event for promotional purposes, including social media, advertising, and future event marketing, without compensation.

6. Minors

If I am registering a minor for the Event, I certify that I am the parent or legal guardian of the minor and have the authority to agree to this waiver on their behalf. I understand that all minors must be accompanied by a responsible adult at all times during the Event.

7. Weather and Cancellation

I acknowledge that the Event will proceed rain or shine, except in cases of severe weather or dangerous conditions. In such cases, the Event may be rescheduled, and no refunds will be provided. I understand that all ticket sales are final.

8. Contact Information and Marketing Consent

By providing my contact information during the booking process, I consent to receiving email or text message updates regarding the Event, including important information, scheduling changes, or weather-related updates. I also agree to allow the Event organizers to use my contact information for future marketing purposes, such as notifying me of upcoming events, promotions, or other related activities. I understand that I can opt out of receiving marketing communications at any time by following the unsubscribe instructions provided in the communications.
